Spend Labor Day with the Pirate!!!

Got plans for Labor Day?? If not come spend Labor Day with the Pirate himself at Jeff's Pirates Cove. He is putting out a fantastic spread for you. And he has his Special Guest Chef Rueben Olivas cooking his fantastic Deep Fried Pork Spare Ribs and local favorite Deep Fried Boneless Mustard Chicken. The Army's 84th Engineers Roll into the Cove!!!

Jeff's Pirates Cove is all about supporting the U.S. and Guam military units and service personnel. We had the distinct pleasure of hosting the U.S. Army's Hawaiian-based Forward Support Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command personnel for a lunch buffet this past Friday, 2 August 2013. It was an all you can eat affair for $20 per plate. And boy, did these soldiers get their money's worth and more. They can flat out eat.

Let's get on with the photos so you can see what I mean...

The Menu...

The head pirate himself briefing his personnel...

Jeff's Grillmaster Hanson finishing up the BBQ...

Hanson knows how to get that special Jeff's Pirates Cove marinade to soak down to the bone...

The Pirate briefs the 84th on a little history of Jeff's Pirates Cove...

You can see the Pirate has "center stage"...

Sometimes the Pirate can get pretty animated. Is this the Jolly Roger 2-Step???

The standards of service are high at Jeff's. The Pirate runs a tight ship...

But the crew is excellent and they know exactly what to do...

The 84th's Chaplain gives the grace before the meal. For God and Country, that stills stands here!!!!

Chamorro Red Rice...

BBQ'd Chicken...

BBQ'd Pork Spare Ribs...

Moist Deep Fried Chicken Breast Strips...

Juicy BBQ'd Yakiniku Steak...

Mouth  watering Chicken Kelaguen...

Deliciously textured and tangy Fish Kelaguen...

Fruit plate that seems to never empty...

Gotta have the Finadenne and there was more...

The lines were long...

The troops filled up their plates...

and filled up their plates some more...

and kept filling up their plates!!!  Our young soldiers have got some appetites!!!

It was all hands on deck so to speak...

Refilling the drinks. Gotta keep our soldiers happy...

Looked pretty happy to us...

A lot of good conversation flowed...

A lot of movement around the buffet table as well...

The JPC staff kept bringing the food and...

Our soldiers kept eating and that's how it's supposed to work here at Jeff's Pirates Cove...

The Pirate even extended a 30% off at the Treasure Island Gift Shop...

We had a whole lot of happiness going around...

The 1st Sargent was happy and....

so was the entire unit.....don't you think so???

It was our honor to serve those that serve us and protect us from harms way. We must always keep our military and support staff in our hearts and prayers. Whenever we get an opportunity to cater to them, we welcome all with open arms. At Jeff's Pirates Cove the "Red Carpet" is always out!!!

We all had a great time with a fantastic group. We were told they will be back!!!
